Was this determined by order of finish? Just curious but too lazy to figure it out myself...

I had Yawk's first round pick via Ray. I didn't trade Ray for his first rounder. The 4th overall listed as Matty's Legend is mine. I don't know who the 13th overall belongs to.

Edit: Looking back it's just backwards. Matty should have 13 and I should have 4.

Thanks E!! Definitely a great idea to post it well in advance with all the trades we've had. I had a hard enough time figuring out my own picks. Appreciate the effort!

    looking forward to another year.

i just wanted to dbl-check that we are using the same criteria for minors as we did last year. last year we said:

"Only players that can be drafted are the ones with no MLB experience but belong to a MLB team. "

if so, then draftees need to be signed to a MLB team by Feb 12, 2009 but not have played, yes? i don't think we should run the MiLB draft while some star Cuban defects on Feb 15 and signs with a MLB team then. Essentially, we want to make sure the pool of players doesn't constantly change (upgrade) while we draft.

Maybe guys don't care, but i thought i'd bring it up.

also, my #2 overall pick is on the block. looking for a CI and/or SP. you will pay....!

Well, I haven't talked to the Commishii, but I think locking the player pool right before the draft is probably a good idea.

Are we gonna have cuts? Say someone has 6 Milb players but 8 draft picks. Could he cut two shitty players so he can use all his picks? If so I'm assuming the cut players would go back into the draft pool.

I wondered about that too. I think there's something in the originally drafted rules, though.

Where is the list of taken players? Can somebody direct me to it?

We probably need to post it or link it on every MiLB draft board page. I have a feeling this could get messy with a lot of guys selecting MiLB guys that are already rostered since any guy with major league service is eligible to be rostered.

hopefully people will read the rules I put up earlier and check not only their pick but the pick that was selected ahead of them.

I don't know if people are checking the posts I get up. We need to seriously make a contact list for everyone that has emails and cellphone numbers on it.

I offered to let people know when it was their selection, but so far nobody has taken me up on it.

As far as waiver-wire is concerned, I believe that it will be in reverse order of the first round of the draft.
