Would you guys be interested in a cross-league matchup?

With "The Fantasy Hub Keeper League"... They've been talkin smack (but who doesn't really), and I thought it'd be cool to have some one-on-one matchups with them. If you've been following their draft on RW, you can tell that even for a 14-team league, their teams aren't all that great (someone very questionable picks).

So I thought it might get interesting to have one team from each league matched up. Say week 1 is TooMuchSalt vs. BoSox04. Both of our leagues share the same categories, except they have OPS and we have BB, so maybe we could leave those out, and calculate the matchups manually at the end of the week, which wouldn't be hard... To the winner goes the prize, whatever it be.

But as of right now, I just wanted to guage your all's interest. What do you think? Good idea, bad idea?

Im all for it, but with it being 14 team, there are quite a few good teams.

I'd love to be in this as well but we need to conisder Vriez's statement of it being a 14-team league...their rosters won't be as diluted as ours...we should still kick their collective asses, though...fucking Matty...

Well, the fact that their's is a watered down 14 team league and ours is a 20 team league made up of stud managers makes it almost impossible to do well mathematically against the B-League. I'm all for stomping their candy asses, but I also know that our WW will not be as plentiful as their's nor will we be able to win on a weekly basis with that type of handicap even with so much bravado.

Per your rules:

remember, you cant draft players that dont meet the requirements of 300ABs or 130IP. so Jacoby Ellsbury would have to be drafted in the minor league draft. As soon as the minor league draft is over you can call up anyone you want to go onto your major league roster.

So you can draft foreign players in that league, but not guys that have experience and probably major league jobs?

That is about stupid. Good thing I didn't sign up then. I would have gone apeshit over that one.

So, my next question would be, are guys forced to stay on the minor league roster then until they meet the requirements? So guys like Joba, Elsbury, etc. would have been non-factors down the stretch and you couldn't have used Braun for the first 150 AB's?

Wow, if that's the minimum AB and IP requirement, are guys like Rocco Baldelli, Kerry Wood or Rich Harden even draftable?
