Does the draft start today at 12 noon Central Daylight Time, or 12 noon EDT? Or some other time altogether?

Re: Draft Chatter
Has someone contacted AW Millwright to let him know he's on the clock? Michael, can you or someone who knows how to manage the website add a link for OTC calls, so we know who has been contacted so far?

Re: Draft Chatter
I texted AW.
But I can add a link so we can record who has been contacted.

Big oversight by me to assume Melendez and Pratto were owned. Well done owners

Pretty predictable draft so far. Everything appears to largely follow consensus thinking.

Re: Draft Chatter
Def had eury top 10 (maybe top 5). Good pull Freese. As for Big Unit comps, you might have to wait a decade for the breakout, but itll he worth it!

Re: Draft Chatter
The top of the 2nd round is when all my favorite prospects were picked! I was really hoping De la Cruz would fall to me. After seeing Oneil Cruz rocket up the ranks, I have a taste for super tall SS who have massive power.

Re: Draft Chatter
Fun part of the draft here. Consensus picks by "experts" mean little. We've got J2 guys coming off the board. We've got 2021 first round picks coming off the board. Under the radar guys. Recent risers like Vinnie and Wiemer.

Wiemer destined for greatness in Milwaukee. Hes got the German name, have the Robin Yount mullet. Will run through the brick wall of the Schlitz brewery.

I was a toss up on Vinnie and Kyle Harrison I was hoping Harrison would have made it back around. Good pick!

I was hoping also Harrison would circle back. Wishful thinking

How has no one mentioned that I managed to draft a second cousin of Lin-Manuel Miranda of musical broadway fame and Disney composer for Encanto and Moana??

Re: Draft Chatter
I think everybody's still pissed you sniped Miranda from me two picks before my selection. And if Lin-Manuel was any good, he would have won an Oscar last night and achieved the rare EGOT status. As it stands, he's a mere EGT.

Re: Draft Chatter
Who's this Lin-Manuel Miranda everyone keeps fussing about? My wife thinks he's the cat's meow. Is he some hot 5-tool prospect or the second coming of Cy Young?

Re: Draft Chatter
Is one of the other commissioners working on the updated "minor leaguers owned" list for after the draft? I've done it in the past but my health has not been good this last year and I'm not 100%. The key thing is to be working on it now, and in parallel to the last rounds of the draft, so it can be posted quickly once the draft is over and before the waivers process has opened.

And now Jay Allen goes. It baffles me how I can still get sniped 75 picks into a FYPD/surplus draft.

Yeah, great draft everyone!
I was kicking myself for not promoting Riley Greene when there were so many interesting prospects still available in the later rounds, but not anymore. Get well soon, Riley!

Re: Draft Chatter
I nominate Jairo Pomares as this year's Anthony Volpe. Surprised no one picked him up. I was 50/50 on him and my final draft pick. Hit 20 HR last year in 328 PAs as a 20 year old in A and A+.

Thanks to all the organizers for setting up the league.
Penny, hope your health improves real soon.
I'm still relatively new here, but I thoroughly enjoyed whooping my two bros last season (and intend on making it a yearly tradition).
Enjoy the 2022 season everyone!
